I don't fully understand Twitter and yet I have this strange feeling of hate and discomfort towards it... perhaps that is why I find this funny?
You Twitter-ers... still funny to you too?

I saw this the other day and thought it was pretty funny. It was only a metter of time before someone made fun of twitter. I think it is a little rediculous how much we share with others over the internet and how much we care about what others are doing. I don't use twitter but I know I really can't go online without checking facebook to see what everybody is up to...it's horrible!
"WRITING IN THE AD BLOG!"
That was funny and yet at the same time so very plausible. This has always been an issue brought up with the internet and the overall level of connectivity that people now have.
We've become so "connected" that we rarely take the time to connect on a face-to-face level. We can just check out Twitter, Facebook, and whatever comes next and know what everyone is up to. This causes us to feel some pseudo-connection without ever seeing people, until one day we realize that we know all about the coming and goings of people, are up to date on every mundane thing that happens to them, and have leafed through hundreds of pictures of them having fun, but we never actually see them anymore.
And then we're left with this feeling of loss and emptiness as we stare at that glowing screen that has become our true companion, and we hurt because we realize we're all alone...
But that's just my opinion.
Twitter creeps me out. I'm going to hold out until someone is persuasive enough to get me on it. I hear that I'll be tweeting on my placement at KP, which should be an interesting experience to say the least.
