So, I read the 22 Immutable Laws of Branding last night and this morning. It's actually a really quick read, and pretty insightful. I also flipped through Positioning: The Battle For Your Mind.
22 Laws is smaller and a much quicker read and uses many of the same points as Positioning. Both books were collaborated on by Al Ries so there are a lot of similarities in content including anecdotal evidence presented. Both books are a little dated already but they still contain some real nuggets of wisdom for advertising people. Check them out sometime.
