Effective? Maybe. Funny? Oh yeah!

I saw this ad for Buffalo Wild Wings during college football today. It's pretty funny but,is it effective? Is the joke overshadowing the message?
Any thoughts?






The above commercial just reminded me of this Bud Light commercial from a couple years ago.

Funny stuff. Beer ads for football games are probably the easiest things to write.You just need a bunch of guys in a room "sampling" the product and eventually you'll get something good.

This is a blog ABOUT advertising. Perhaps you would be better off sticking to Dickens and staying off this blog since it seems to bother you so much.
